Years of Dedication: Celebrating the Champions of Change at CURE India

At CURE India, we pause with immense pride and gratitude to celebrate the incredible work anniversaries of our State and District Disability Program Coordinators—spanning from 1 year to an extraordinary 14 years of dedicated, compassionate service. These milestones are more than just years; they are a profound reflection of unwavering commitment, compassion, and competence in empowering children and families affected by clubfoot. Our CURE India Program Coordinators are the true CURE Champions—the frontline heroes whose consistent effort turns our mission into a daily reality, one child, one story, at a time.

The role of these coordinators is arguably the most vital in the entire ClubfootCare journey. They are the non-medical backbone of our operation, providing essential parent counselling, walking alongside families through the long-term free treatment process, and tireless raising awareness in remote communities. Their understanding and empathy are key to ensuring adherence to the crucial Ponseti method, which, while simple, requires consistent follow-up over several years. They are responsible for linking communities to our clinics, ensuring early detection, and ultimately, safeguarding a child’s right to a mobile, independent future. Their personalized approach—state by state, story by story—is what truly defines our ability to deliver lasting social impact and ensures no child is left behind.

This profound dedication from our field team is the primary reason for our operational credibility. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we have treated the most number of clubfoot children, and it is the persistent work of these coordinators that enables us to maintain a uniform standard of care across our massive national presence. We are deeply honored to be recognized as one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, a distinction earned by our steadfast ethical governance and the complete transparency of fund usage. Every single anniversary celebrated here is proof that your donation is responsibly invested in expert personnel who deliver results, transforming childhoods across the nation.

The commitment of our coordinators is more important now than ever, as we move with urgent speed toward our ultimate goal. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. However, our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. This aggressive expansion is impossible without the expertise and boots-on-the-ground knowledge of our Program Coordinators. We need sustained partnership from the public and donors to support the necessary infrastructure, training, and resources that allow these champions to continue their work effectively. We invite you to join this journey—whether through a financial donation or dedicating your time to volunteer—to help us secure the future of our CURE Champions and the children they serve.

Here’s to our champions who are changing childhoods and shaping brighter futures every single day. We salute your compassion and your dedication to the vision of a Clubfoot-Free India.
