What causes clubfoot? Why is my child born with clubfoot?

The reason for clubfoot is unknown. Since the cause is unknown, one cannot say that the mother or father or anyone else in the family is the reason for a child to be born with clubfoot. Mothers should not feel guilty for giving birth to a child with clubfoot. There are many theories regarding what causes clubfoot but nothing has been verified so far to be the one specific reason for children to be born with clubfoot.
