Awareness in Action: Educating Underserved Communities for a Clubfoot-Free Future

Real change begins at the doorstep of the community. In the quest to ensure no child suffers from preventable disability, reaching out to rural villages is not just an initiative—it is a necessity.
In Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, our mission for mobility recently reached Mogaluru village in the Podhalakur mandal. Led by our dedicated District Program Coordinator (DPC), Ms. K. Anuradha, CURE India successfully conducted a community awareness program designed to bring life-altering medical knowledge to those who need it most.
The session in Mogaluru was built around the core truth that clubfoot is 100% treatable. For many families in rural areas, a lack of information can often be the biggest barrier to a child’s recovery.
Ms. Anuradha’s session focused on three critical pillars:
The success of our mission in Andhra Pradesh is a testament to the passion of our local coordinators. We extend our deepest gratitude to Ms. K. Anuradha for her tireless commitment to reaching underserved populations. Her ability to engage with community members and break down complex medical information into actionable insights is what makes CURE India’s work sustainable.
Every awareness session in a village like Mogaluru represents a step toward a future where physical limitations are a thing of the past. By building informed communities, we are creating an environment where every child has the chance to walk, run, and live with absolute confidence.
Together, we are transforming lives—one village and one step at a time.
Be a part of the transformation. Your contribution helps us reach more villages like Mogaluru and provide free, life-changing treatment.
