United by Hope: CURE India's Clubfoot Support Meeting in Bhuj
At CURE India, we understand that the journey of treating clubfoot involves more than just medical procedures; it requires a holistic approach that embraces families, offers emotional support, and fosters a strong sense of community. This philosophy was beautifully illustrated recently at our CURE India Clinic in Bhuj, Gujarat, where a heartwarming Clubfoot Group Support Meeting brought together ten parents and children, all united by hope and the shared path to healing.
Led by our esteemed medical experts, Dr. Tej Rudani and Dr. Vishal Pushkarana, the session provided invaluable guidance and a safe space for families to connect. These dedicated doctors shared their expertise, offering practical advice and reassurance to parents navigating the intricacies of the clubfoot journey. Their presence underscores the credibility of CURE India's medical team, ensuring that every child receives the highest standard of care through the globally recognised Ponseti method.
We are also profoundly grateful to our dedicated team member, Ms. Jayvanti, District Program Coordinator (Kutch), for her compassionate organisation and unwavering support for this vital event. Her care ensures that the logistics are seamless, allowing families to focus on the support and information being offered. It’s through the commitment of individuals like Ms. Jayvanti that CURE India can maintain its robust national presence and continue to deliver free treatment to children across the country.
These support meetings are a powerful reminder that healing happens faster and more effectively when we walk together. They provide a unique blend of expert care from our medical professionals, invaluable peer support from other parents who understand the journey firsthand, and the collective strength of a compassionate community. For new families, seeing others who have successfully navigated the challenges of clubfoot treatment offers immense encouragement and a clear vision of the positive outcomes possible.
CURE India is immensely proud to be recognised among the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India. This distinction reflects not only our significant social impact but also our unwavering commitment to the transparency of fund usage. Every donation we receive directly contributes to these life-changing programs, ensuring that children can access the free treatment they need. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we have treated the largest number of clubfoot children, transforming countless lives and giving them the ability to walk and play freely.
We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India, but our vision extends further. Through our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative, we aim to scale up our efforts to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next five years. This ambitious goal means countless more children will be able to walk with confidence, free from disability, and lead fulfilling lives.
"Let’s keep stepping forward so that every child can walk free from clubfoot." Your support is crucial in helping us achieve this vision. Whether through a donation or by volunteering your time, you can directly contribute to changing a child's life forever.
Help us empower more families and ensure every child walks tall. Donate today at cure.org.in/donate.
