Years of Hope, Miles of Impact: Honoring the Commitment of CURE India’s State and District Program Coordinators

The success of CURE India is measured not just in the sheer number of children treated, but in the unwavering human commitment behind every successful outcome. Today, we pause to celebrate the true heartbeat of our organisation: our dedicated State and District Disability Program Coordinators (DPCs and SPCs). These incredible individuals are the real heroes who have been with us, some for just one year, and others for as long as 14 years, tirelessly creating ripples of change across India.
Each year of service from our coordinators is far more than just a number; it’s a living story of profound commitment, deep compassion, and unwavering courage. They are the constant presence for the families we serve, right from the very beginning of the clubfoot journey. From overseeing the application of the first cast to celebrating a child’s first confident step, they are the guides who counsel parents, spread crucial clubfoot awareness, and cheer every tiny victory.
Their persistent dedication has turned monumental challenges into tangible possibilities and transformed treatment into a life-changing experience, one smile, one story, one child at a time. They ensure that the non-surgical Ponseti method is delivered with kindness and expertise across our network.
This long-term dedication is the bedrock of CURE India's credibility and massive social impact. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, our achievements are a direct reflection of the commitment shown by our Program Coordinators. We are proud to be recognized as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country, an honour secured by the integrity and transparency of fund usage demonstrated by every member of our team.
As we pursue our ambitious RunFree2030 vision—scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years—we rely on the passion of these CURE Champions.
Join us in celebrating these heroes! You can support their continued work of transforming childhoods by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate. Here’s to the hearts that truly make hope walk!
