From First Casts to Confident Steps: Honoring Our State and District Coordinators—the Driving Force Behind RunFree2030

Behind every clinical success, every straightened foot, and every child running toward a bright future, there is a human story. At CURE India, we often talk about the Ponseti method, our national presence, and our status as one of the Top 10 NGO's in India. But in January 2026, we are turning the spotlight toward the individuals who breathe life into those statistics: our CURE Champions.
This month, we celebrate the work anniversaries of our State Program Coordinators (SPCs), Associate State Program Coordinators (ASPCs), and District Program Coordinators (DPCs). With service milestones ranging from 1 year to an incredible 14 years, these individuals are the backbone of the largest clubfoot program in the world.
Stability and longevity are the hallmarks of credibility. Some of our coordinators have been with CURE for over a decade, witnessing the evolution of clubfoot care in India from its infancy to the robust system we manage today.
These "14-year veterans" have seen it all—thousands of families walking into clinics with heavy hearts and walking out with hope. This depth of experience is what allows CURE India to maintain its record of the most number of clubfoot children treated globally. Their resilience in navigating the complexities of the Indian healthcare system is why we are recognized as a Top 10 NGO in the country.
A CURE coordinator’s role begins long before the first cast and ends long after the final brace. They are the bridge between medical professionals and parents who may be overwhelmed by a Clubfoot diagnosis.
By providing Free Treatment, our coordinators ensure that poverty never stands in the way of a child’s mobility. They transform a clinical process into a journey of social impact and personal triumph.
Our coordinators are not just managing current cases; they are the architects of our future. Currently, CURE India is proud to be treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. While this is a monumental achievement, we have set our sights on a much larger goal: RunFree2030.
Over the next 5 years, we are scaling up to 70% coverage across the nation. This expansion depends entirely on our SPCs, ASPCs, and DPCs. They are the ones opening new clinics, training local health workers, and ensuring our national presence is felt in the most remote districts. When you support CURE, you are supporting this growing army of change-makers.
As a Top 10 NGO in India, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of transparency of fund usage. We understand that our donors and the general public want to see their donation at work.
The longevity of our staff is a testament to the healthy, transparent, and mission-driven culture at CURE. We strive to show you exactly how your contributions empower these coordinators to provide:
In January 2026, as we salute our CURE Champions, we invite you to stand with them. There are three ways you can help us reach our RunFree2030 goal:
To our SPCs, ASPCs, and DPCs: You are the hearts that make hope walk. Thank you for 1, 5, 10, and 14 years of changing lives, one smile at a time.
