CURE India’s social worker, Ms. Anamika, met with Mr. Salim (name changed), a tailor from Darbhanga, Bihar, who had traveled to Delhi with his children, Asma and Samir (names changed), for medical treatment. With no current means of livelihood due to his caregiving responsibilities, Mr. Salim faced significant challenges. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, CURE India reached out to Rtn. Raman Bhatia, Managing Trustee of the Rtn. Naqshband Institute for the Physically Challenged. In a generous act of solidarity, Mr. Bhatia committed to supporting the family's essential needs during their stay in Delhi, exemplifying the power of community partnership in ensuring that no child is left untreated due to economic hardship.
