SUGAM: Transforming Everyday Transit Through Inclusive Technology

Building a Future Where Accessible Mobility Is for Everyone

Mobility should never be a privilege. Everyone deserves the freedom to navigate their surroundings safely, independently, and with confidence.

With this vision, we are proud to introduce SUGAM – Safe Universal Guidance for Accessible Mobility, a purpose-built mobile application developed through a collaborative partnership between Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, and CURE India.

Designed with universal accessibility at its core, SUGAM aims to help break down physical and digital barriers that can make everyday navigation challenging. The application brings together technology and inclusion to make navigation and transit more intuitive, guided, and equitable for everyone.

Technology for Accessible Mobility

SUGAM represents how meaningful collaboration can turn innovative ideas into practical solutions for communities. By placing accessibility at the heart of technology, the initiative seeks to contribute towards a future where individuals can navigate public spaces and transit systems with greater independence.

The development of SUGAM has been supported by dedicated leadership and collaboration. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister’s Office, Delhi, and Smt. Rekha Gupta for their invaluable support.

We also acknowledge the vision, leadership, and dedication of Dr. Santhosh George and Dr. Smriti Singh, whose efforts have been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.

Step Into the Future of Accessible Transit

SUGAM is more than a mobile application—it represents a step towards creating a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable society, where technology helps ensure that mobility is available to everyone.

Discover SUGAM and join the movement towards accessible mobility.
