Building a Sustainable Future: How Our South Regional Teams are Scaling Impact Through Collaborative Clinical and Management Excellence.

At CURE India, we believe that the strength of our national impact is defined by the depth of our regional expertise. From June 10th to 12th, 2026, we hosted a three-day South Region Program Management Training at IGICH, Bangalore, bringing together 40 dedicated counselors and program staff from across the southern states. This intensive workshop was a critical milestone in our mission to refine our processes, elevate our clinical standards, and harmonize our strategy to achieve the #RunFree2030 vision.
The training began with a call to service, inaugurated by our Chief Guest, Mr. Ranjan Mathai (IAS, Former Foreign Secretary of India). His presence brought a profound perspective on the global importance of humanitarian work. In his address, he lauded CURE India’s commitment to children with disabilities, urging our team to remain steadfast in their "compassion, dedication, and integrity."
Clinical leadership was provided by Dr. Rudra Prasad (HoD, Pediatric Orthopaedics) and Dr. Mahantesh (RMO, IGICH), whose insights into pediatric orthopaedic care bridged the gap between our managerial goals and the bedside reality of treating children.
The curriculum was designed to ensure that every participant left with a comprehensive toolkit for scaling our operations. Led by our Director, Dr. Santhosh George, alongside Mr. Prathap and Mr. Anand, the sessions covered the entire lifecycle of our impact:
On the final day, we were privileged to host Mr. Mohan Krishna, Assistant Vice President, who provided a masterclass in the synergy between corporate sectors and social organizations. His discussion on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) emphasized that sustainable community impact is built on strong, strategic partnerships. His presence highlighted the importance of viewing our work not just through a clinical lens, but as a critical part of India's larger developmental roadmap.
As one of the Top 10 NGO’s in India, CURE India is recognized for its massive national presence and institutional credibility. We currently operate the largest clubfoot program in the world, having documented the most number of clubfoot children treated in medical history.
The success of the Bangalore training is a collective triumph. We extend our sincere thanks to all resource persons, the National and State teams, and our institutional partners for their hospitality and collaboration. Your dedication to learning and your commitment to excellence are the reasons thousands of children across Southern India will walk, run, and thrive.
