Strategic Partnership: CURE India Engages Educational Authorities at the Purple Fair in Guna, MP

On September 23, 2025, CURE India proudly participated in the Purple Fair 2025 at Manas Bhavan in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. This platform provided us with a crucial, strategic opportunity to spread awareness about our services directly among District Educational Officers and key authorities. Our engagement was targeted: ensuring that the educational infrastructure—which touches every village and every community—becomes an active partner in the fight against untreated clubfoot. Highlighting our 16+ years of work in clubfoot treatment and DisabilityEmpowerment, we emphasized that InclusionMatters starts with prevention, ensuring no child is left behind in walking towards a brighter future.

The decision to focus our efforts on engaging educational authorities in Guna is a vital strategic move. Teachers and school officials are often the first non-family members to notice developmental delays or physical differences like clubfoot in a child. By educating the educational administration—the decision-makers who manage school health and community outreach—we exponentially multiply our capacity for early detection. We empower thousands of staff members to become agents of referral, ensuring children are identified and guided toward free treatment via the non-surgical Ponseti method during the critical window of infancy. This systematic collaboration is essential for maximizing our HopeForEveryChild mission in Madhya Pradesh and beyond.

This strategic outreach is a core pillar of our operational credibility. We are globally recognized as the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children and transformed countless lives. Our unwavering commitment to accountability is why we are honored to be counted among the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India. The Guna Purple Fair Awareness drive exemplifies our commitment to the ethical transparency of fund usage, by investing resources in high-impact collaborations that integrate our expertise into existing government systems. By strengthening partnerships with educational authorities, we reinforce our massive national presence and ensure that our social impact is both broad and sustainable.

However, the challenge of reaching every child born with clubfoot remains urgent. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. Our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. This aggressive expansion relies heavily on the kind of systemic cooperation fostered at the Purple Fair. Every educational officer reached and every teacher empowered accelerates the path to hope for countless families. We invite the general public and all donors to support the infrastructure that makes this systemic collaboration possible. Whether through a financial donation or dedicating your time to volunteer, your commitment will help us equip the educational system to ensure a Clubfoot-Free India.

Every step counts—let’s walk hand in hand for inclusion and hope. Together, with strong collaboration and broad awareness, we move closer to a nation free from untreated clubfoot.
