Spreading Hope in Delhi: CURE India's Mission for a Clubfoot-Free Future

At CURE India, our mission to ensure every child can walk, run, and live without limits is fueled by a simple but powerful idea: awareness is the first step toward healing. This belief was brought to life today in Azadpur, Delhi, where our dedicated team members, Ms. Richa and Ms. Barkha, embarked on a vital journey to empower the community with knowledge. Their visit to the PVT Clinic, a government school, and the Ayushman Arogya Mandir was more than just a trip; it was a mission to spread hope, one conversation at a time.

Through interactive and engaging discussions, they highlighted the importance of early detection and timely treatment of clubfoot. For many in these communities, the condition may be misunderstood or seen as an insurmountable challenge. Our team's compassionate approach helps to demystify clubfoot and bring to light the incredible possibilities of a child’s future. They work directly with parents and community members, reassuring them that with the right care, their child can walk confidently into a brighter future.

The Power of Proactive Care and Community Partnerships

The work carried out by Ms. Richa and Ms. Barkha is a microcosm of CURE India’s expansive efforts across the nation. By working directly with schools and local health centers, we are building a robust network of informed community members who can become advocates for child health. This grassroots effort is critical for ensuring that every child, particularly those in underserved areas, receives the attention they need as early as possible. Timely intervention is the key to successful, non-surgical treatment, allowing children to be free from disability caused by clubfoot.

This is a testament to our steadfast commitment to a Clubfoot-Free India. Our model of providing free treatment to all affected children ensures that no family is ever burdened by the cost of care. We achieve this by utilizing the globally recognized Ponseti method, which has a remarkable success rate and has been a cornerstone of our work.

A Credible and Transparent Mission

CURE India is immensely proud to be recognized as one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India. This distinction is a powerful testament to our deep credibility and our unwavering commitment to the transparency of fund usage. When you make a donation to CURE India, you can be absolutely confident that your contribution is making a tangible, life-changing impact. Every rupee helps us train more medical professionals, open new clinics, and conduct crucial awareness sessions like the one in Azadpur, empowering more families to seek timely care.

As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we have treated the most number of clubfoot children, transforming countless lives and making a profound social impact on a national scale. Our extensive presence with 452 clinics across the country is a clear sign of our dedication. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. However, our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative aims to scale up our efforts to reach a staggering 70% in the next five years. This is an urgent and hopeful goal, and it is a mission that we can only achieve with your support.

The journey to a world free from the challenges of untreated clubfoot is a long one, but together, we can make every step count. Your support is not just a donation; it is a partnership in a powerful and inspiring movement.
