Reflection, Resilience, and Renewal: CURE India Hosts Annual Get-Together at National Office

On December 23, 2025, the CURE India National Office in Delhi was filled with a profound sense of purpose and gratitude. As the year drew to a close, our leadership, board members, and valued well-wishers gathered for our Annual Get-Together—a day dedicated to connection, reflection, and the strategic renewal of our mission to eliminate disability caused by clubfoot.

The event was not merely a social gathering; it was a powerful alignment of minds committed to the children of India. We were honoured by the presence of Dr. Mathew Varghese, our Honorary Medical Director and a global authority on the Ponseti method, alongside Rotarian Raman Bhatia, our esteemed board members, and supporters who have been the bedrock of our growth. We also extended our heartfelt thanks to the Gulmohar Park RWA members for their continued association and encouragement of our work.

Reflecting on the Largest Clubfoot Program in the World

As we stood together in the National Office, the gravity of our collective impact was clear. CURE India is currently recognised as one of the Top 10 NGO's in India/in the country. This prestigious standing is built on our track record as the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children globally.

The gathering featured an orientation session for our team, providing a moment to reflect on the medical excellence that defines us. Our work is centered on the Ponseti method—the non-surgical, gold-standard treatment that has transformed the lives of thousands. By providing Free Treatment and the essential FAB (Foot Abduction Brace), we ensure that families from even the most marginalized backgrounds can see their children walk, run, and thrive.

Transparency and Credibility: Our Promise to Donors

At the heart of our discussions was our unwavering commitment to transparency of fund usage. We understand that our credibility is our most valuable asset. During the annual review, we reaffirmed that every Donation received is strategically channeled into clinical supplies, specialized training for medical professionals, and grassroots community outreach.

Our national presence in over 460 clinics across India is a testament to how efficiently we scale our operations. When you support CURE India, you are not just funding a program; you are investing in a proven, high-impact medical model that changes the trajectory of a child's life forever.

The Road Ahead: Scaling from 33% to 70%

While we celebrated our achievements, the atmosphere remained one of urgency. Our mission, RunFree2030, set the tone for our future roadmap.

  • The Current Reality: Today, CURE India is treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India.
  • The Urgent Goal: Our vision is to scale up to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years.

To bridge this gap, we discussed expanding our partnerships with state governments and strengthening our outreach to ensure no child is left behind. The transition from 33% to 70% coverage requires a massive mobilization of resources, volunteers, and medical expertise.

A Heartfelt Appreciation for the Team

The success of CURE India rests on the shoulders of our dedicated staff. We extend our deepest appreciation to the Delhi CURE Team and the National Office Team. Their tireless efforts behind the scenes—managing data, coordinating with state programs, and supporting clinics—are what allow our clinical impact to grow year after year.

Join the Movement: How You Can Help

As we move forward into 2026 with clarity and purpose, we invite the general public, medical professionals, and donors to be part of this transformation.

  • Make a Donation: Your financial support is the primary driver of our scale-up efforts. Help us reach the next 70%. Donate today at: cure.org.in/donate.
  • Volunteer Your Skills: We need passionate individuals to help with awareness drives, documentation, and community engagement. Your time can change a life.
  • Advocate for Inclusion: Spread the word that clubfoot is curable and that free, world-class treatment is available through CURE India.
