Partnering for Progress: CURE India Honoured with Community Impact Partnership Award in Vijayawada

True change is never achieved in isolation; it is the result of a collective, dedicated effort. At CURE India, we are deeply honoured to announce that our commitment to collaborative healthcare was recently recognised at the Youth4Jobs Impact Awards 2025 – Andhra Pradesh Chapter. Held in the historic city of Vijayawada, the event saw CURE India being awarded the prestigious Community Impact Partnership Award.

This recognition is a testament to the power of synergy—bringing together community organisations, government bodies, corporate partners, youth, and families to create a scalable, meaningful impact. Our State Program Coordinator for Andhra Pradesh, Ms. Sireesha, represented our mission on this important platform, celebrating a shared vision of inclusive development and empowered livelihoods for persons with disabilities.

Why Partnership Matters in Clubfoot Care

The eradication of disability caused by clubfoot requires more than just clinical skill; it requires a robust ecosystem of support. Our partnerships with organisations like Youth4Jobs, Swaraj Ability, and SERP (Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) allow us to reach deeper into the grassroots of the country.

By integrating clubfoot awareness into broader disability inclusion and livelihood programs, we ensure that the journey doesn't end with a child's last plaster cast. We are building communities where every individual, regardless of their physical challenges at birth, has the opportunity to thrive, learn, and contribute to society.

The Gold Standard: Excellence Through the Ponseti Method

Our social impact is rooted in medical excellence. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we rely on the Ponseti method—the non-surgical, globally accepted gold standard for clubfoot management. This method, consisting of gentle manipulation and corrective casting, ensures that children can achieve full mobility without the risks and costs of invasive surgery.

For every child we treat, we also provide the FAB (Foot Abduction Brace). This specialized orthotic device is crucial in the maintenance phase, preventing relapse and ensuring the child’s feet stay in the corrected position as they grow. Because we provide Free Treatment, we remove the financial burden from families, ensuring that economic status never dictates a child’s right to walk.

Leading the Nation with Credibility and Transparency

CURE India is currently recognised as one of the Top 10 NGO's in India/in the country. This position of trust has been earned through years of credibility and an unwavering commitment to the transparency of fund usage. We take pride in the fact that we have treated the most number of clubfoot children globally, but our gaze is firmly fixed on the future.

Our national presence allows us to operate hundreds of clinics in collaboration with state governments, ensuring that a life-changing cure is never more than a few hours away for any family in India.

The RunFree2030 Vision: Scaling for the Future

While the Community Impact Partnership Award celebrates our past achievements, it also fuels our most ambitious mission yet: RunFree2030.

Currently, CURE India is treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. This is a significant milestone, but it also highlights the urgent work ahead. Our goal is to scale up to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years. To achieve this, we need to deepen our existing partnerships and forge new ones—expanding our reach to every district and every remote village.

Be a Part of the Award-Winning Impact

An award for "Community Impact" belongs to the entire community—including our donors, medical professionals, and the general public. Your support is the engine that drives our clinics, funds our training programs, and provides the casts and braces that change lives.

  • Make a Donation: Your financial contribution is vital for our scale-up efforts. Every Donation is utilized with full transparency to provide free, high-quality care.
  • Volunteer Your Time: Join our grassroots movement. Whether it’s assisting at awareness camps or providing administrative support, your time is a valuable gift.
  • Advocate for Inclusion: Help us spread the word that clubfoot is treatable and that CURE India provides free help across the nation.

Together, we are not just correcting feet; we are building an inclusive India where every child can walk into a brighter future with dignity and hope.

Help us reach the next 70%.
