Bridging Academic Excellence with Social Impact: Empowering Future Changemakers to Champion the #RunFree2030 Mission.

At CURE India, we believe that the journey to a disability-free future is best traveled when we bring the next generation of social innovators along with us. On June 25th, 2026, we were honored to host a vibrant cohort of students from Aditi Mahavidyalaya (University of Delhi) for their Block Placement and students from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi for their Internship Orientation at our National Office.
The session was led by our Founder and Director, Dr. Santhosh George, alongside the National Team. It was designed to move beyond theory and introduce these students to the tangible realities of grassroots development. We delved deep into the pillars of our work:
The orientation was purposefully interactive. It provided a space for students to share their aspirations, pose challenging questions about the development sector, and begin visualizing their own potential contributions. By engaging with these young minds, we aren’t just offering placements; we are helping to cultivate the empathy, expertise, and leadership skills that these students will carry into their future careers.
"We are nurturing socially responsible young leaders. By grounding their academic learning in the real-world challenge of eradicating clubfoot, we are empowering them to create impact that lasts far beyond their time with us."
We extend our sincere gratitude to the faculty of Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University for their trust and collaboration. Partnerships like these are essential in our goal to scale our national reach to 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India by 2030 (#RunFree2030).
Join the Movement:
Together, we are not just hosting students—we are empowering a generation to lead with compassion and build a future where every child can walk, run, and dream without limitations.
