Investing in the Future: Kerala Students Visit CURE India National Office to Learn About Sustainable Social Impact and Clubfoot Care

The CURE India National Office was once again filled with the inspiring energy of future social leaders! On October 28, 2025, we had the delight of hosting an orientation visit for 17 enthusiastic students and two faculty members from Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, Kerala. This educational exchange is a vital part of our mission to connect academic learning with real-world social change.
The visit provided a deep dive into CURE India’s core mission: transforming the lives of children born with clubfoot through early detection, the gold-standard Ponseti method, and compassionate care. We shared with the students how our holistic approach ensures that this entirely curable condition does not lead to lifelong disability.
The session was marked by curiosity, learning, and heartfelt discussions on how young, inspired minds can actively contribute to social change and champion inclusive healthcare. The enthusiasm of the Kerala students underscores the growing national interest in our work. Their engagement reinforces our belief that the next generation holds the key to accelerating the pace of social development.
As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, we highlighted to the students how our extensive national presence and unwavering credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country make a difference. We stressed the importance of transparency of fund usage, ensuring that every donation provides free treatment and sustains educational partnerships like this one.
We are incredibly grateful to the college faculty and students for their keen interest and engaging participation. Partnerships with educational institutions are crucial as we strive toward our ambitious RunFree2030 goal: scaling our efforts to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years. By inspiring the youth, we are simultaneously recruiting future volunteers and advocates for the families we serve.
We step closer to a world where every child walks free from disability, together with the compassionate leaders of tomorrow. Join us in this mission by making a donation today at cure.org.in/donate.
