Bridging Academic Excellence and Ground-Level Impact: Empowering the Next Generation of Public Health Advocates.

At CURE India, we believe that the most powerful social transformations are driven by the synergy of clinical expertise and the fresh, determined energy of the youth. We are thrilled to announce the commencement of an internship program for a dynamic cohort of students from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi.
The journey began with an inspiring orientation session where our Director, Dr. Santhosh George, formally presented the interns with their letters. This session set the tone for their time with us: a commitment to learning, a mandate to serve, and a shared goal of creating deep, lasting social impact.
Over the coming weeks, these students will move past theoretical frameworks to engage with the frontlines of pediatric healthcare. Their internship will provide them with critical, hands-on exposure to:
The students from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University are joining us at a pivotal moment in our organizational history. CURE India currently operates the largest clubfoot program in the world, having documented the most number of clubfoot children treated in clinical history.
However, our work is far from finished. Through our RunFree2030 initiative, we are scaling our infrastructure to treat 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India within the next 5 years. Achieving this requires an army of compassionate advocates who can bridge the gap between our clinics and the families who need them most.
"Our interns are not just observers; they are active partners in our mission. We are honored to provide a platform for these young leaders to hone their skills while helping us build a more inclusive, healthier society for every child." — Dr. Santhosh George, Director, CURE India
At CURE India, we take pride in our role as a learning organization. When students from institutions like Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University join us, they aren't just gaining professional experience; they are becoming part of a movement that is redefining the future of pediatric disability in India.
Every FAB (Foot Abduction Brace) fitted, every mother counseled, and every awareness session conducted by these students contributes to our collective goal: a #ClubfootFreeIndia.
Whether you are a student, a professional, or a concerned citizen, your involvement makes a tangible difference:
We look forward to a transformative journey with our new interns. Together, we are building a more inclusive future, one confident, corrected step at a time.
