From Internship to Impact: CURE India Celebrates the Dedication and Service of Kamala Nehru College Students

The future of social impact shines brightly in the hands of committed youth! On December 2, 2025, CURE India had a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with the students of Kamala Nehru College (KNC), University of Delhi, right after the completion of their internship viva.
This interaction celebrated the successful conclusion of their internship, where these bright learners took active roles and even led several activities with CURE India. Their contribution—which showcased dedication, empathy, and a strong spirit of service—directly supported our mission of providing free treatment for clubfoot to children across India.
The participation of these students was enabled through the IAPC (Internship, Apprenticeship, Projects, or Community Outreach) component under UGCF 2022. This vital academic framework provides Semester 3–6 students with valuable, hands-on learning opportunities as an alternative to Skill Enhancement Courses. This real-world experience is essential for nurturing future changemakers who understand the complexities of the social sector.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Principal of KNC and Prof. Ritu Sharma for their consistent support and guidance. Their commitment to integrating service with education strengthens community partnerships and ensures a pipeline of socially responsible youth.
CURE India is truly proud of the commitment demonstrated by these students and deeply inspired by their energy! As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, we know that such collaborations are crucial for accelerating our social impact. Our credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country is enhanced by these partnerships and our transparency of fund usage.
We look forward to seeing these future leaders create indelible marks of change. You can support our mission and youth engagement initiatives by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate.
