Bringing Mobility Home: A New Landmark for Specialized, Free Clubfoot Treatment in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu.

At CURE India, our mission is to ensure that geography is never a barrier to a child's health. We are delighted to announce a significant expansion of our network with the inauguration of a new CURE Clubfoot Clinic at the Namakkal Government Medical College Hospital. This new facility brings specialized, free clubfoot care directly to the families of Namakkal, ensuring that world-class treatment is accessible close to home.
The inauguration was more than just a ceremony; it was a day of tangible progress for families in the region. A highlight of the event was the distribution of Foot Abduction Braces (FABs) to children who have successfully completed the initial correction phase of their treatment.
The successful launch of this clinic is a testament to the power of institutional collaboration. We extend our deepest gratitude to the distinguished leadership at Namakkal Government Medical College Hospital for their vision and partnership:
Their commitment ensures that our mission—to scale our national reach to 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India by 2030 (#RunFree2030)—is supported by the best clinical minds in Tamil Nadu.
"If your baby was born with clubfoot, remember that early treatment gives the best results. Clubfoot is completely treatable. Don't delay—the earlier a child starts care, the better the outcome."
As one of the Top 10 NGO’s in India, CURE India is recognized not only for the largest clubfoot program in the world but for the transparency of fund usage that allows us to establish these clinical partnerships. Every donation we receive fuels the infrastructure, training, and brace distribution that make clinics like Namakkal possible.
