Empowering the Healers: CURE India Announces Nationwide Clubfoot Training Programs for January 2026

Upcoming training on ponseti method

As we step into January 2026, the mission to eradicate disability caused by clubfoot enters a high-gear phase. At CURE India, we know that achieving a "Clubfoot-Free India" requires more than just clinics—it requires a specialized, skilled, and compassionate workforce.

Recognized as one of the Top 10 NGO’s in India, CURE India is proud to announce our upcoming Clubfoot Training Programs. This initiative is designed to empower the next generation of medical professionals with the precision and expertise needed to transform lives.

Why Specialized Training is the Key to RunFree2030

Currently, CURE India is proud to be treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. While this makes us the largest clubfoot program in the world, our goal is much bolder: we are scaling up to 70% in the next 5 years through our RunFree2030 initiative.

To reach that 70% mark, we must expand our national presence by equipping more doctors, physiotherapists, and nurses with the Ponseti method. This non-surgical gold standard is a highly skill-dependent technique. When performed correctly, it has a nearly 100% success rate, allowing children to walk, run, and lead normal lives without the need for invasive surgery.

Learn from the Pioneers

The January 2026 training sessions are not just lectures; they are immersive, hands-on learning journeys. Participants will be mentored by:

  • Renowned Ponseti Experts: International and national leaders in pediatric orthopedics.
  • Senior Orthopedic Specialists: Surgeons who have dedicated their careers to musculoskeletal health.
  • Experienced CURE India Clinicians: Professionals who have contributed to the most number of clubfoot children treated globally.

Through live demonstrations and practical insights, attendees will master the art of gentle manipulation, serial casting, and the correct application of the FAB (Foot Abduction Brace).

A Legacy of Credibility and Social Impact

For our donors and the general public, these training programs represent the "engine room" of our social impact. When you provide a donation to CURE India, you aren't just funding a single treatment; you are funding the capacity building that allows one doctor to treat hundreds of children over their career.

We maintain a strict commitment to transparency of fund usage. We want you to see exactly how your contributions empower families by providing Free Treatment. By training local healthcare providers, we ensure that specialized care is available even in the most remote corners of the country, reinforcing our credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country.

A Call to Action: Professionals and Volunteers

The journey toward 2030 is a collective one. We need every hand on deck to ensure that no child is left behind.

  • For Medical Professionals: This is your opportunity to "level up" your skills and join a network of over 1,000 specialists across India. Whether you are an intern or a senior practitioner, your expertise is the bridge to a child’s first step.
  • For the General Public: We ask people to volunteer as community advocates. Help us find children who need help and direct them to our newly trained experts.
  • For Donors: Your donation funds the training materials, the specialized casts, and the travel for experts to reach rural districts.
