In our ongoing mission to ensure that every child receives timely, high-quality care, CURE India—in collaboration with Children in India—successfully conducted a comprehensive online RBSK (Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram) Doctors Training Program for Jharkhand on July 30, 2026.

Equipping Doctors for Early Intervention

The specialized online training session was designed to strengthen the clinical capacity of RBSK medical officers across Jharkhand. By focusing on the nuances of early identification, timely referral, and evidence-based management, the training ensures that children born with clubfoot and other developmental delays are caught during the critical golden window of infancy.

• The Ponseti Standard: Participating doctors received expert guidance on implementing the Ponseti method, the global gold standard for non-surgical clubfoot correction.
• Strengthening Referral Networks: By bridging primary medical screeners with specialized clinical pathways, the training ensures that no child slips through the cracks of the public health system.
• Systemic Impact: Empowering RBSK doctors directly scales our ability to identify cases at birth, moving us closer to our national target of treating 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India by 2030 (#RunFree2030).
