A Step Forward in Odisha: CURE India's Staff Training Strengthens Mission and Vision

At CURE India, our mission to ensure a Clubfoot-Free India is powered by the dedication of our teams on the ground. This commitment was reinforced recently with a two-day State Staff Training, successfully conducted on July 25 and 26, 2025, at the Seminar Hall, SCBMCH, in Odisha. All thirteen staff members actively participated, focusing on key areas such as reporting, documentation, and critical outreach activities.
This orientation was especially valuable as CURE India expands its initiatives, including the "Children in India" and "WePlant" programs. The training helped our dedicated district teams align their work with the organization’s broader vision, ensuring a cohesive and impactful effort across the state. The sessions were led by Upasana Sahu, State Program Coordinator, with valuable guidance from Dr. Santhosh G, Dr. Atula Jamir, and other CURE India team members. Their collective expertise provided the field staff with deeper clarity and a stronger capacity to create a meaningful social impact in their respective regions.
This commitment to capacity building is a cornerstone of our work. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we have treated the most number of clubfoot children, and our robust national presence is a direct result of our empowered and well-trained teams. We are proud to be recognized as one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, a testament to our steadfast credibility and our profound commitment to transparency of fund usage. Your generous donation directly supports these vital training sessions, ensuring that our teams are always at the forefront of compassionate and effective care.
We provide free treatment to all children, a promise we can keep only with your help. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. However, our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. This is a mission of hope, and we believe that a well-trained team is the key to achieving this urgent goal.
"Because when we walk together, we go further. Together, we will eliminate disability from Clubfoot in India!" Your support helps us empower our teams and bring healing and hope to countless children.
