Empowering First Steps: CURE India and Rotary District 3011 Host FAB Distribution at Safdarjung Hospital

At CURE India, we know that the journey to a clubfoot-free life doesn't end when the final cast is removed. It continues with the diligent use of Foot Abduction Braces (FABs). To ensure that our children continue their progress toward mobility, we are proud to announce a collaborative FAB Distribution Program in partnership with Rotary District 3011 and the Rotary Club of Delhi Safdarjung.

The Vital Role of the FAB in the Ponseti Journey

The Ponseti Method is the global gold standard for clubfoot treatment, but its success relies on the consistency of the bracing phase.

  • Maintaining Correction: The FAB is the guardian of a child’s corrected foot. It prevents relapse and ensures that the mobility gained through treatment is maintained as the child grows.
  • The Continuum of Care: This program is designed to provide families with the necessary medical equipment at no cost, removing financial barriers and ensuring that the continuity of treatment is never interrupted.
  • Empowering Families: By providing these braces, we are equipping parents with the tools they need to ensure their children can walk, run, and play without limitations.

A Partnership Built on Collective Impact

This initiative is a testament to the power of public-private partnership in the healthcare sector. We are honored to be working alongside the esteemed leaders of Rotary District 3011 and the Rotary Club of Delhi Safdarjung.

  • Date: July 15, 2026
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Venue: Old Lecture Hall, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi

We look forward to welcoming our distinguished guests, healthcare professionals, Rotary leaders, and the families who are the true heroes of this journey. Their presence reinforces our shared vision of a future where no child is left behind.

"Together, we are ensuring that every child with clubfoot receives the complete continuum of care. Every brace distributed is a step toward a brighter, more mobile future."

CURE India: Scaling Impact with Credibility

As one of the Top 10 NGO’s in India, CURE India is recognized not only for the largest clubfoot program in the world but for the transparency of fund usage that allows us to manage these complex logistical operations across the country. Our goal remains clear: to treat 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India by 2030 (#RunFree2030).
