Empowering Care, Transforming Lives: CURE India’s 149th Medical Training Milestone

At CURE India, our mission to ensure a Clubfoot-Free India is powered not only by direct care but also by empowering the medical community with the knowledge and skills needed to transform lives. We are proud to announce a significant milestone in this journey: the successful completion of our 149th Training for Doctors on the Ponseti method of Clubfoot Management in Rajasthan. This landmark event was led by the esteemed Dr. Mathew Varghese and Dr. Kumar Sashikanth, two pillars of expertise whose dedication is vital to our cause.

This training is a cornerstone of CURE India's strategy to build a robust network of skilled medical professionals nationwide. It is a testament to our belief that by empowering doctors, we can exponentially increase our reach and impact, ensuring that quality care is accessible to every child, no matter where they are. This commitment has already yielded incredible results: we have treated over 118,000 children non-surgically and now operate 452 clubfoot clinics across the country, making us the largest clubfoot program in the world.

The non-surgical Ponseti method is the gold standard for clubfoot treatment, and our extensive training programs ensure that more and more doctors are equipped to perform this gentle yet life-changing procedure. Our goal is to ensure that every child walks without pain or shame, and by training the most number of doctors on this technique, we are accelerating our progress towards that vision.

CURE India's success is a collective effort. We extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated doctors who participated in this training, our essential government partners who collaborate with us to expand our reach, and every supporter who has walked this journey with us. This network of support underscores our credibility and our commitment to making a tangible social impact on a national scale.

As one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, we operate with a steadfast commitment to transparency of fund usage. Every donation we receive is a direct investment in a child’s future, enabling us to provide free treatment and conduct critical training sessions like this one. Your contribution helps us heal little feet, one step at a time, and moves us closer to our ambitious RunFree2030 goal of treating 70% of children born with clubfoot in India in the next five years.

We believe in the power of a single step to change a life. By empowering care, we are enabling healing steps, and together, we are transforming lives and building a future where every child can walk with confidence. Your support is not just a donation; it is a partnership in a powerful and hopeful mission.
