A New Milestone for Mobility: CURE India's 151st Clubfoot Medical Training Empowers Doctors in Hyderabad
On August 22, 2025, CURE India achieved a significant milestone in our mission for a Clubfoot-Free India with the successful completion of our 151st Clubfoot Medical Training at the OGH Clinic in Hyderabad. This event was not merely a workshop; it was a powerful statement of our unwavering commitment to empowering the medical community and ensuring that every child born with clubfoot receives timely and effective care.
The program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, a moment of profound symbolism that marked the beginning of a new chapter of learning and dedication. The event was inaugurated by a distinguished panel of eminent dignitaries, including Dr. Sahay (Superintendent), RMO-1, the Principal & Vice Principal of the Medical College, and the HOD of Orthopaedics. Their presence underscored the vital partnership between government institutions and CURE India in addressing this critical public health issue. Their support is a testament to the growing recognition of the Ponseti method as the gold standard for clubfoot management and our organization's role in making it accessible nationwide.
The training session was an intensive and transformative experience, led by our esteemed expert faculty: Dr. Vikas Gupta, Dr. Rudra Prasad, and Dr. Abhishek. Their collective expertise and deep commitment to the cause provided invaluable knowledge and hands-on skills to the 141 doctors who participated. This focused training ensures that these healthcare professionals are equipped with the most effective, non-surgical techniques, allowing them to provide life-changing care to children in their own communities.
The dedicated participation of CURE India staff from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana further highlighted the collaborative spirit of our organization. It is through this cohesive teamwork and a shared sense of purpose that we can multiply our impact. As the day concluded, certificates were proudly distributed to each participant, marking not just the completion of a course, but the beginning of a renewed commitment to our mission.
