Caring for Our Environment, Caring for Our Community: Our Delhi Team Takes Action for a Cleaner Yamuna.

At CURE India, we believe that the health of a child is inextricably linked to the health of the world they inhabit. Our commitment to well-being goes beyond the clinic and the treatment room—it extends to the neighborhoods, cities, and environments where our families live and grow.
Today, the CURE India and Children in India Delhi teams proudly stepped out of the office and onto the banks of the Yamuna to participate in the #YamunaCleaningDrive at Chilla Ghat, East Delhi. Working alongside Rotary District 3011 and under the leadership of the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Smt. Rekha Gupta, our team demonstrated that community service is the bedrock of our organizational culture.
A cleaner environment directly contributes to the public health landscape. By participating in this civic initiative, we are reinforcing a simple but powerful truth:
This initiative was driven by the encouragement of our Founder and Director, Dr. Santhosh George. His leadership consistently reminds us that our duty to society is comprehensive. Whether we are scaling the #RunFree2030 mission to ensure 70% of clubfoot cases receive care or cleaning our city’s rivers, we act with the same purpose: to leave the world better than we found it.
"Caring for the environment is an extension of caring for people. Every action counts, and together, we are creating a cleaner, healthier tomorrow for every child."
Our team is proud to have contributed to this meaningful cause, but the work of building a sustainable future is ongoing.
