Shaping Futures Together: CURE India Partners with Udayan Shalini Fellowship to Drive Inclusion and Youth Leadership

The future of social impact is built on strong partnerships, and on November 14, 2025, a significant collaboration was forged. CURE India and Udayan Care’s Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) officially joined hands by signing a crucial MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). This partnership marks a powerful commitment to two essential goals: empowering young girls and supporting children with disabilities across India, moving us closer to a truly inclusive and compassionate society.
This meaningful collaboration was made possible through the dedication and commitment of key team members, including Mr. Khushnud Ali (Regional Manager), Ms. Ritu Khurana (Regional Manager), Ms. Rakhi (Program Coordinator), and Ms. Himani Notiyal (Assistant Program Coordinator). Their focus on education, mentorship, and social impact provided the foundation for this initiative.
The core of this partnership involves USF’s bright and committed young women, known as Shalinis—Jyoti, Chanchal, Chandni, Preeti, and Nandani. These future leaders will now engage in impactful social work with CURE India, providing support to families with children undergoing treatment for clubfoot and other disabilities. This experience will not only aid our mission but also foster crucial traits like empathy, leadership, and a sense of responsibility in the Shalinis.
CURE India views this initiative as a vital extension of our work. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, our mission is rooted in transforming lives through free treatment via the Ponseti method. Partnerships like this bolster our widespread social impact and national reach. Our credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country is strengthened by our commitment to youth engagement and our strict transparency of fund usage.
Together, we are shaping futures, touching lives, and creating opportunities for dignity and growth. This collective effort brings us closer to our RunFree2030 vision of scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years.
We invite you to support this powerful blend of youth empowerment and compassionate healthcare. You can help by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate.
