Investing in Our Team: CURE India Conducts National Staff Training to Enhance Skills and Compassion for a Brighter Tomorrow

The dedication of the CURE India team is the engine driving our mission to eliminate untreated clubfoot as a cause of disability in India. Recognizing the critical importance of continuous learning and collaboration, CURE India successfully conducted a dedicated Staff Training Program on November 14, 2025, at the CURE India National Office.
This vital training session brought together key members from across our expansive national presence: Ms. Upasana Sahu (SPC, Odisha), Ms. Anjali Burnwal (SDPO, Uttarakhand), Ms. Sithara (SDPO, Chennai), and Ms. Khushi (DPC, Roorkee). The session was designed not just to update knowledge but to foster a stronger, more compassionate team dedicated to transforming childhoods.
The training focused intensively on strengthening skills, sharing insights, and enhancing our mission to effectively support children born with clubfoot and their families across India. By bringing together leaders from different states, we ensure that the best practices for patient counselling, program management, and the delivery of the non-surgical Ponseti method are shared and standardized nationwide. This commitment to continuous improvement guarantees that every child receives timely, high-quality free treatment.
As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, our success hinges on the competence and commitment of our staff. Our credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country is validated by our investment in our team and our unwavering transparency of fund usage.
This continuous capacity building is crucial as we aggressively pursue our ambitious RunFree2030 vision: scaling our efforts to treat 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years.
Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate team to ensure every child receives timely treatment and a future filled with hope. You can support our team's ongoing training and life-changing work by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate.
