Collaborative Commitment: CURE India Joins Esteemed Faculty at KGMU to Advance Disability Inclusion and Early Intervention in Uttar Pradesh

On December 3, 2025, the global focus on rights and well-being converged as CURE India proudly participated in the World Disability Day celebration held at King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The event was a crucial gathering, bringing together esteemed faculty members and dedicated professionals united by a common goal: strengthening disability inclusion and advancing child health.
The program was significantly enriched by the presence of distinguished experts who shared invaluable insights:
Their meaningful talks underscored the critical need for early intervention, inclusive healthcare, and providing comprehensive support for children with disabilities. This aligns perfectly with CURE India's mission of ensuring that every child born with clubfoot receives the timely and free treatment necessary for a life of mobility.
Representing CURE India, Ms. Roopa William, State Coordinator – UP, actively participated in the event, reinforcing our collaborative partnership with one of the state's leading medical institutions. This partnership is vital to our national presence and our commitment to reaching families in every district.
CURE India is truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an impactful gathering. It strengthens our shared commitment to ensuring that every child receives the support, care, and dignity they deserve. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, our social impact relies on the dedication of our team and these key collaborations. Our efforts are aimed at accelerating our RunFree2030 vision.
Together, we continue to build a future of inclusion for every child. You can support this mission by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate.
