Nurturing Compassion and Leadership: JMC, DU Interns Successfully Conclude 60-Hour Program with CURE India and WeEducate

The future of committed community service and Youth For Change shone brightly today as our WeEducate and CURE India family celebrated the successful completion of the 60-hour internship program by students from Jesus and Mary College (JMC), University of Delhi! This partnership successfully combined education with compassionate healthcare service.
We are immensely proud to have hosted a dedicated cohort of 31 interns this year: 13 CURE India interns and 18 WeEducate interns.
During their tenure, these dedicated students contributed their time and talent across critical areas of our mission:
Their hands-on commitment and compassion left a truly meaningful impact on the communities we serve and reinforced our collective social impact.
A special certificate distribution ceremony was held at JMC, DU, honouring the interns' hard work. The event was attended by our Intern Coordinator, Dr. Santhosh Sir (our Founder Director, Dr. Santhosh George), and the esteemed faculty members of the college.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Principal and Faculty of JMC for their continuous support and collaboration. These academic partnerships are vital to CURE India’s expansive reach and national presence. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, we rely on the energy and dedication of young volunteers and interns to propel our mission forward.
Our credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country is strengthened by our commitment to youth development and the absolute transparency of our fund usage.
Wishing all our interns a bright and impactful future ahead! Join us in our vision, RunFree2030, to scale up our efforts to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years.
