Celebrating Resilience: Children’s Day Brings Joy and Hope to CURE India’s Gujarat Clinic

Children’s Day is a beautiful reminder of the joy, resilience, and boundless potential inherent in every child. On this special occasion, our dedicated CURE India team member, Ms. Chavda Mallika Girish Kumar (DPC), joined hands with the Gujarat Government Spine Hospital in Ahmedabad to celebrate our little clubfoot warriors! It was a day dedicated to recognizing their bravery and celebrating their bright future.

The event was a collaborative success, bringing together 15 children and 15 parents for a day filled with fun activities, cheerful interactions, and moments of hope. These celebrations go beyond just fun; they create a supportive community where families feel encouraged and where the children can connect with others on the same journey. The day was a powerful reminder of why every step towards a child’s healthy future matters.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Director Dr. Piyush Mittal, R.O.M. Dr. Sanjay Kalpdiya, the committed hospital staff, the CURE India team, and the wonderful parents who made this celebration truly special. This strong partnership with the Gujarat Government Spine Hospital exemplifies CURE India’s expansive national presence and our commitment to inclusive healthcare.

As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, we understand that treatment using the non-surgical Ponseti method is a marathon, not a sprint. Moments like these, where we celebrate progress and community, are essential for maintaining the motivation of the children and their families in continuing with the free treatment program.

Our credibility as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country is founded on the social impact we create and our absolute transparency of fund usage. We invite you to continue working with us for children’s health, mobility, and happiness, supporting our RunFree2030 vision to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years.

✨ Every child deserves a future full of possibilities. You can help light their way by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate.
