Bridging Academia and Social Impact: DU Students Showcase Healthcare Research

Education and research are the driving forces behind sustainable social change. When young minds engage deeply with healthcare challenges, they bring fresh perspectives and rigorous analysis to the sector.
Today, CURE India was proud to host an important academic milestone: the IAPC Viva for students from Maitri College, University of Delhi (DU). This event served as a platform for future leaders to showcase their research and demonstrate their commitment to the social and healthcare landscape of India.
A total of 45 students participated in the viva, presenting research that reflects months of dedication and field study. The session highlighted the growing importance of academic engagement in the NGO sector, focusing on:
The viva was conducted with the highest academic standards. We were honored to have Dr. Santhosh George, Founder of CURE India, serve as the External Examiner. His guidance, alongside Dr. Smriti Singh and other esteemed faculty members, provided the students with invaluable clinical and professional insights.
This collaboration between CURE India and Maitri College exemplifies how theoretical knowledge can be enriched by real-world application.
The session concluded with a group photo—a moment that captured more than just the end of an examination. It represented a shared commitment between seasoned professionals and aspiring students to build a society rooted in compassion, inclusion, and healthcare accessibility.
By supporting these academic milestones, CURE India continues to nurture the next generation of social workers, researchers, and healthcare advocates.
Empower the next generation. Our work in research and training helps build a stronger healthcare foundation for all.
