A Shared Vision for the Future: CURE India Welcomes Inspiring Leader Mr. Jihosuya Jena

On October 1, 2025, CURE India was deeply honored to welcome Mr. Jihosuya Jena at our National Office. As a distinguished member of the Organising Committee for the Indian Christian Minority Parliamentarians Council (NCMPC) and President of International Youth and Students for Peace, India (YouthForPeace), Mr. Jena embodies inspiring Leadership and a powerful commitment to BuildingFutures for children and communities across the nation. His visit reinforced a critical shared vision—one rooted in collaboration, compassion, care, and values—that resonates profoundly with CURE India’s mission of ensuring every child with clubfoot receives the effective, life-changing treatment they deserve.

The synergy between our organizations is essential for advancing social change. Mr. Jena's influential platform within the NCMPC and his connection to the YouthForPeace movement provide vital avenues for awareness and advocacy. While CURE India focuses on the physical intervention—the free treatment of clubfoot using the non-surgical Ponseti method—we rely on visionary leaders to champion our cause within policy and community spheres. By uniting political and youth Leadership with our clinical expertise, the Jihosuya Jena Collaboration creates a powerful force multiplier, ensuring that the message of hope and the availability of ClubfootAwareness reaches even the most marginalized families. This alignment is crucial for demonstrating that EveryChildMatters, irrespective of background.

This strategic outreach is a cornerstone of our long-standing credibility. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children, our success is fundamentally tied to partnerships that extend our reach. We are immensely proud to be recognized as one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, a distinction earned through our unwavering dedication to maximizing social impact and upholding the complete transparency of fund usage. Meeting with leaders like Mr. Jena reaffirms our commitment to these values and ensures that our massive national presence remains aligned with the highest ideals of community service and accountability for every donation received.

However, the task of achieving a Clubfoot-Free India requires urgent and sustained momentum. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. Our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. This aggressive goal cannot be met without the support and advocacy of influential Leadership capable of mobilizing resources and encouraging grassroots action. We invite the public, medical professionals, and donors to heed this call. Your financial donation provides the foundation for our clinical work, and your time as a volunteer helps us connect with communities and amplify the HopeForChildren message championed by individuals like Mr. Jena.

We thank Mr. Jihosuya Jena for his Inspiration and his commitment to TogetherForChange. We remain determined to continue our work toward creating a world where no child is left behind due to a treatable condition.
