A Powerful Partnership for a Clubfoot-Free India: CURE India and Rotary International Unite

At CURE India, our mission to create a Clubfoot-Free India is built on the strength of collaboration. We are thrilled to announce a significant and powerful partnership with Rotary International District 3055 and its 69 clubs, joining forces to strengthen clubfoot care across the region of Gujarat. This collaboration is a monumental step toward ensuring every child in the region has access to life-changing treatment.

The formal MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed today, marking a commitment from both organizations to work together for a common cause. Present at the signing were esteemed leaders, including District Governor Rtn. Mohan Parashar and Rtn. Purvish Patel, President of the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Supreme. Their presence and leadership highlight the shared vision that drives this partnership. A subsequent Zoom meeting brought together the presidents and secretaries from all 69 clubs, where they learned more about clubfoot and collectively pledged their support.

This partnership with Rotary International is crucial for expanding our reach and ensuring the quality of care at the ground level. The Rotary clubs will contribute to clinic quality and ground-level monitoring across the network, strengthening our ability to deliver the best possible care. This is a powerful example of how community-led initiatives can create a profound social impact on a large scale.

As one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, CURE India is recognized for its unwavering credibility and commitment to transparency of fund usage. Every donation we receive is a direct investment in a child’s future, providing free treatment through the globally recognized Ponseti method. We believe that no child should suffer from this treatable condition due to a lack of resources. Our partnership with Rotary will help us further this commitment, reaching more children and families.

CURE India operates the largest clubfoot program in the world, with 452 clinics across the nation. We have treated the most number of clubfoot children globally, but our work is far from over. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India, but our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative aims to scale our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. This vision of a brighter, more mobile future is a goal we can only achieve by working together with committed partners like Rotary International.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rtn. Mohan Parashar and Rtn. Purvish Patel for their incredible leadership and to all the Rotary clubs for joining us on this journey. Together, we can make a future where every child can walk with confidence.
