A Partnership for Hope: CURE India and RBSK Team Up to Heal Little Feet in Chhattisgarh

At CURE India, our mission to ensure every child can walk with confidence is a collective effort, built on strong partnerships and a shared vision of a Clubfoot-Free India. We were proud to witness this collaborative spirit in action on July 14, 2025, when we teamed up with the Government of Chhattisgarh’s RBSK (Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram) program to host a dedicated Clubfoot Camp at the Orthopaedic Department of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital in Raipur.

This special event brought hope directly to the doorstep of families from the districts of Raipur, Gariyaband, Baloda Bazar, and Mahasamund. Thanks to the committed support of the RBSK team, seven children were evaluated, with four of them taking their first steps on a new journey by becoming new enrollments in our program. Each enrollment is a triumph, a promise that a child will no longer have to live with the limitations of untreated clubfoot. Our goal is clear and urgent: to provide timely, life-changing treatment to every child who needs it.

The success of this camp highlights the power of working together to achieve a significant social impact. By joining forces with government partners like RBSK, CURE India extends its national presence and makes our services more accessible to remote communities. This collaboration is crucial for identifying children early and guiding their families to our clinics for free treatment. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pranay Dhrue, whose compassionate leadership and expertise were vital to the camp's success, making a tangible difference in each child's journey.

CURE India is a recognized leader in our field, proudly listed among the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India. This distinction is a testament to our unwavering credibility and our commitment to the highest standards of transparency of fund usage. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we have successfully treated the most number of clubfoot children, helping them walk without pain or shame. We utilize the gentle, non-surgical Ponseti method, which has a proven track record of success and is our standard of care.

We are currently treating 33% of the children born with clubfoot in India. However, our mission is far from over. Through our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative, we are striving to scale our efforts to reach 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next five years. This vision is a testament to our hope and determination, but it is a goal we can only achieve with your help. Every donation, no matter the size, directly funds the free treatment we provide, trains medical professionals, and supports outreach programs like the one in Raipur.

Your support can help a child take their first confident step toward a brighter, more mobile future.
