From New Delhi to Siliguri: CURE India Unites the Country to Champion Early Identification and the Promise of a #RunFree2030 Future.
On World Clubfoot Day 2026, the message of CURE India echoed across the nation: clubfoot is a condition, not a limit. Across nearly 20 locations, our clinics and partner hospitals transformed into vibrant hubs of celebration, bringing together the clinicians, families, and community heroes who form the backbone of our movement to eradicate disability.
The day was a powerful testament to the resilience of our "little warriors" and the unwavering commitment of the healthcare community to ensure that every child—no matter where they are born—receives the gift of mobility.
From the high-energy interactions in the capital to the dedicated community support in the East and West, World Clubfoot Day 2026 was a truly national effort:
Each event featured inspiring success stories, educational sessions for caregivers, and the distribution of gratitude gifts. More than just a celebration, these events served as vital awareness campaigns, demystifying the Ponseti method and proving that early intervention is the key to unlocking a child’s future.
A mission of this scale relies on the collective strength of India's medical and community infrastructure. We were deeply honoured to have the support of distinguished medical leadership, including Dr. Narendra Choudhary, Dr. Renu Kushwaha, Dr. Ashok Yadav, Dr. Vijay Vaghmare, and Dr. Vikas Gupta.
We also extend our profound appreciation to our:
As one of the Top 10 NGO’s in India, CURE India is built on institutional credibility and a radical transparency of fund usage. We currently operate the largest clubfoot program in the world, having documented the most number of clubfoot children treated in medical history.
Our focus remains fixed on the #RunFree2030 vision: scaling our operations to ensure we are reaching 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India within the next 5 years. Achieving this requires the same unity we witnessed during this year’s World Clubfoot Day celebrations.
"Together, we continue to ensure that every child born with clubfoot can walk, run, play, and pursue their dreams. Our success is reflected in the confident footsteps of every child who has completed their treatment."
The celebration of World Clubfoot Day reminds us that disability can be overcome when communities stand united. Your support is the bridge that carries a child to treatment:
