Scaling Clinical Mastery: 43 Aurangabad Doctors Trained in the Ponseti Method at Government Medical College, Chh. Sambhajinagar.

At CURE India, we believe that eliminating the disability caused by clubfoot requires relentless dedication to clinical education and professional empowerment. We are proud to mark a significant national milestone: the successful execution of our 170th National-Level Refresher Medical Training on the Ponseti Method of Clubfoot Management, held on August 22, 2026, at the Government Medical College, Chh. Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
The intensive training session brought together 43 doctors from across the Aurangabad region, providing them with rigorous, hands-on instruction in the gold standard of non-surgical clubfoot care.
Reaching our 170th national training milestone is a testament to persistent teamwork and institutional collaboration. We extend our sincere gratitude to the faculty, participating doctors, hospital administration, and our dedicated CURE India regional team—Ms. Vipulata Agale, Ms. Manisha Bhosale, Ms. Nutan Gaikwad, Mr. Vivek Kamkare, Mr. Akshay Nitnaware, Ms. Seema Tode, Ms. Martina Kamthankar, Ms. Lata Jadhav, and Ms. Puja Bhosle—whose tireless efforts ensured the seamless execution of the event.
We also offer a special note of thanks to Lokmat for covering the training, helping amplify public awareness of clubfoot care across Maharashtra.
As one of the Top 10 NGO’s in India, CURE India operates the largest clubfoot program in the world. Our medical training initiatives are backed by absolute transparency of fund usage and institutional credibility, ensuring every workshop drives us closer to our ultimate national target: treating 70% of all children born with clubfoot in India by 2030 (#RunFree2030).
"Together, we can build a Clubfoot-Free India by 2030."
Every doctor we train represents dozens of children who will receive early, expert care instead of a lifetime of physical limitation.
Together, we are equipping healthcare heroes to ensure that no child in India faces clubfoot alone.
