Empowering the Experts: 157th Nagpur Medical Training Advances ClubfootCare for 105 Doctors

The commitment to HealthcareExcellence took a significant leap forward on September 27, 2025, as CURE India successfully conducted its 157th Medical Training program at LMH, Nagpur. This milestone event, which focused on the effective management of clubfoot using the gold standard Ponseti method, saw the inspiring participation of 105 doctors—a remarkable turnout that underscores the medical community’s dedication to pediatric care. The session was honored by the inauguration of Dr. Sajal Mitra, Dean of LMH, and presided over by Dr. Sushil Mankar, HOD of LMH, whose institutional support is invaluable in integrating this life-changing technique into mainstream practice in Maharashtra.
The training was a powerful blend of theory and practical application, ensuring participants gained immediate proficiency. Expert faculties—Dr. Anil Agarwal, Dr. Mahesh, Dr. Manoj, and Dr. Amit Nemade—shared valuable insights, engaging in practical demonstrations and interactive sessions. This continuous, high-quality MedicalTraining is the very engine of our mission. By empowering 105 doctors in a single session in Nagpur, we exponentially multiply our capacity to deliver ClubfootCare, effectively decentralizing the expertise required for free treatment. This commitment to scaling knowledge ensures that thousands of families in the region will benefit from timely, high-quality intervention, HealingLittleFeet state by state.
This vast network of training, now reaching its 157th session, is the foundation of our operational credibility. We are honored to be recognized as one of the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, a distinction earned because we are globally recognized as the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children. The investment in initiatives like the Nagpur Medical Training reinforces our ethical commitment to the transparency of fund usage, ensuring that every donation is channeled toward high-impact activities that strengthen our massive national presence and expand our social impact.
However, despite these achievements, the mission remains urgent. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. Our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. This aggressive goal is reliant on the enthusiastic participation of doctors like those in Nagpur and the sustained support of the public. Empowering 105 doctors in a single session is a crucial leap forward, but continuous effort is required to sustain this momentum. We invite you to partner with us. Whether through a financial donation to support the logistics and faculty for future training sessions, or by choosing to volunteer your skills, your commitment is essential to achieving a Clubfoot-Free India.
A big thanks to our Maharashtra team for their seamless organization, warm hospitality, and excellent arrangements that made this training a success. Together, we continue our mission to ensure that every child with clubfoot walks free of disability.
