A New Clinic Every Five Days: CURE India Accelerates its Mission for a Clubfoot-Free India
We are thrilled to share a powerful and hopeful update on our journey toward a Clubfoot-Free India. Our national map now proudly displays 452 active clubfoot clinics, each one a beacon of hope offering free treatment to children born with this treatable condition. In just the past year, we have achieved a remarkable milestone, launching 35 new clinics, a pace of one every ten days. But as a mission driven by urgency and compassion, we are not slowing down; we are moving faster.
This year, CURE India is setting an even more ambitious goal: to start a new clinic every five days, aiming to add at least 70 new dots on the map by year-end. These aren't just dots; each one represents a child’s first step towards healing and a life without disability. This accelerated expansion is a testament to our unwavering commitment to reach every child, regardless of their location, with high-quality, free care.
As the largest clubfoot program in the world, we have treated the most number of clubfoot children, and our robust national presence is a key pillar of our success. Our clinics utilize the gentle, non-surgical Ponseti method, the gold standard for clubfoot correction. This method, combined with our strategic expansion, ensures that we are bringing life-changing care directly to the doorstep of families who need it most.
