A Festival of Purpose: CURE India and ArtNDreams Champion Inclusion at IIT Delhi Diwali Mela

The spirit of Diwali shone brilliantly with purpose and Inclusion at the IIT Delhi Diwali Mela, where CURE India forged a powerful partnership with artndream AnD. This collaboration brought two complementary missions together: CURE India's dedication to physical empowerment through clubfoot treatment, and artndream AnD's movement to empower individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities to express their creativity and achieve financial independence.

Celebrating Talent and Purpose

The stall at the IIT Delhi Mela was a vibrant testament to the talent of the differently-abled individuals supported by artndream AnD. Every product—from candles to coasters—was more than just a craft; it was a story of talent, purpose, & joy driven by Neurodiversity and CreativityForChange. By showcasing these handmade items, the event promoted InclusionThroughArt and challenged perceptions of ability.

CURE India was truly grateful to the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Mr. Fernandes Alston, and NIVAH (Social Sector Initiatives wing of DMS, IIT Delhi) for making this collaboration possible. A special thanks went to Mr. Lakshay Agarwal, founder of Art N Dreams, and his wonderful family for their inspiring leadership. The energy of the day was further amplified by the energetic volunteers from AMV & JMC (DU), who helped the stall shine bright.

Our Mission: Credibility, Urgency, and Sustained Support

This powerful demonstration of unity and Social Impact reinforces the core mission and credibility of CURE India. We are globally recognized as the largest clubfoot program in the world, having successfully treated the most number of clubfoot children. This recognition, placing us among the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, is built upon our commitment to the Ponseti method and the provision of free treatment to all families, ensuring transparency of fund usage in every initiative.

The success of events like the IIT Delhi Diwali Mela is crucial for our work. While we provide the physical ability to walk, partnerships like this one (fostered by a small donation and large spirit) ensure that the healed child finds an inclusive world to walk into.

However, the need to scale our clinical and awareness operations across our massive national presence remains urgent. We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. Our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up to 70% in the next 5 years. Achieving this requires constant public engagement, the recruitment of more volunteers, and sustained donation support. TogetherWeCan continue to light up lives, ensuring every dream finds its wings.
