A Decade of Dedication: CURE India Celebrates Its Program Coordinators in November

The monumental success of CURE India in eradicating untreated clubfoot as a cause of disability is built on the foundation of human dedication. This November, we pause to celebrate the true architects of this transformation: our exceptional State and District Disability Program Coordinators (DPCs and SPCs). These incredible individuals are the real heroes who have stood with us, with service ranging from just one year to an inspiring 14 years, tirelessly creating powerful waves of impact across India.

Every year they’ve dedicated isn’t just a milestone; it’s a chapter filled with profound compassion, courage, and unwavering service. Their roles are holistic, extending far beyond administrative duties. They are the constant presence for the families we serve, offering the emotional support necessary for the long journey of correction.

From the very first cast applied using the non-surgical Ponseti method to the very first confident step a child takes in their Foot Abduction Brace (FAB), our coordinators have walked alongside families—guiding, counselling, reassuring, and celebrating every little victory.

Their devotion has been the catalyst that turns challenges into possibilities and transforms treatment into lifelong mobility—one smile, one story, one child at a time. This tireless work is the engine behind CURE India’s expansive social impact. As the largest clubfoot program in the world, having treated the most number of clubfoot children globally, our achievements are a direct result of their boots-on-the-ground commitment.

We are proud of the credibility earned through this dedication, positioning CURE India as one of the Top 10 NGO's in the country. Our commitment to transparency of fund usage ensures that your donation directly supports these CURE Champions who deliver free treatment across our entire national presence.

This November, we honour their service as we accelerate towards our RunFree2030 vision: scaling our efforts to treat 70% of children born with clubfoot in the next 5 years.

Here’s to our CURE Champions—the hearts that make hope walk and the hands that change lives! You can support these heroes and our mission by making a donation or becoming a volunteer today at cure.org.in/donate.
