A Collaborative Step Forward: CURE India and Rotary Partner to End Clubfoot Disability

We are thrilled to share the resounding success of the Clubfoot Awareness & Training Programme, held on August 2, 2025, at the prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. This impactful initiative, a powerful collaboration between Rotary District 3011, Rotary Club Delhi South, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and CURE India, brought together over 60 passionate participants. The audience was a diverse and influential group, including Rotarians, social workers, medical professionals, and community leaders, all united by a shared purpose.

The programme was designed with a clear focus: to raise critical awareness about clubfoot, highlight the transformative power of early intervention, and advance orthopedic skills through a hands-on Ponseti Technique Workshop. Our expert faculty, led by the distinguished Dr. Mathew Varghese and Dr. Vineet Arora, provided invaluable insights and practical training. Their commitment to sharing knowledge is a cornerstone of our mission to build a network of skilled professionals across the country.

A truly heartwarming moment came with the presence of 15 children from our Delhi clinic, who once battled clubfoot. Now, they are walking tall and proud, their confident strides serving as a living testament to the life-changing care made possible through timely free treatment. Their smiles were a powerful reminder of the profound social impact that can be achieved when communities and organizations work together.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the esteemed patrons, Prof. Dr. Ajay Swaroop and Prof. Dr. Y.B. Bhasin, and our honored Chief Guests, Prof. Dr. Ajay Swaroop and Rtn. Dr. Ravinder Gugnani. A special thanks to the Rotary Club Delhi South and the District Clubfoot Committee for their steadfast support and collaborative spirit in making this program a reality.

CURE India is the largest clubfoot program in the world, with the most number of clubfoot children treated. We are proud to be recognized among the Top 10 NGOs/Non-Profits in India, a distinction that speaks to our unwavering credibility and our profound commitment to transparency of fund usage. Your generous donation is what makes these vital partnerships and life-changing events possible.

We are currently treating 33% of children born with clubfoot in India. However, our ambitious RunFree2030 initiative is focused on scaling up our efforts to reach 70% of these children in the next five years. Together, let's ensure every child can walk, run, and thrive.
