The Train the Trainer on the Ponseti Method of Clubfoot Management continues with great momentum! π CURE India, in collaboration with the Global Clubfoot Initiative and the Central Institute of Orthopedics, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, is equipping medical professionals across India with specialized skills to treat clubfoot effectively and expand life-changing care.
Led by Dr. Alaric Aroojis and Dr. Mathew Varghese, today's session was highly engaging and informative. The 30 doctors participating from across India gained valuable insights into the Ponseti Method, the gold standard for clubfoot treatment. Through hands-on learning, interactive discussions, and group activities, this training is proving to be a significant step toward improving clubfoot care across the country.
With each training session, CURE India moves closer to its goal of ensuring that at least 70% of children born with clubfoot receive treatment. Over the past 16 years, we have:
β
Trained 9,000+ doctors in the Ponseti Method
β
Established 440+ clubfoot clinics nationwide
β
Transformed thousands of lives by providing early intervention and continuous care
To continue this mission, we need:
β
More trained doctors to reach every child in need
β
More clinics to provide accessible treatment
β
More braces to support long-term recovery
The journey to a clubfoot-free India is only possible with collective efforts. Trained doctors, dedicated healthcare workers, and compassionate individuals like you can make a lasting difference.
