On January 29, 2025, CURE India took a significant step forward in its mission to eliminate clubfoot disability by engaging in ASHA Workers’ training sessions in Mangarajupur and Tentol, Odisha.
Our dedicated State Program Coordinator, Ms. Upasana, and District Program Coordinator, Ms. Rashmi Rani Pal, led these sessions to empower frontline healthcare workers with the knowledge to identify and refer children with clubfoot at the earliest possible stage. Timely intervention is the key to ensuring every child receives the treatment they deserve, giving them the opportunity for a brighter, disability-free future.
ASHA Workers are vital changemakers in rural healthcare. By equipping them with critical information about early diagnosis and treatment, we are bridging the gap between affected families and lifesaving clubfoot care. Every trained ASHA Worker becomes an advocate for change, helping us bring hope, mobility, and independence to countless children across Odisha.
