On March 27, 2025, CURE India had the privilege of hosting a meaningful event organized by the Rotary Club of Safdarjung at our Safdarjung Hospital clinic in Delhi. This inspiring collaboration marked another vital step in our mission to eliminate disability caused by clubfoot and ensure that no child is left untreated.
During this heartwarming initiative, Rtn. Dr. Priya Oberoi (Club President) and Rtn. Sumati Puri (Honorary Secretary) personally distributed Foot Abduction Braces (FAB) to children who are undergoing treatment for clubfoot. These braces play a crucial role in preventing recurrence of the deformity and are provided free of cost by CURE India for up to five years post-treatment—ensuring long-term success for every child.
The event offered a beautiful opportunity for Rotary members and CURE India’s Delhi team to connect directly with families, share smiles, and reinforce the collective hope for a future without disability. Every child who received a brace also received a renewed chance at mobility, confidence, and dignity.
CURE India is deeply thankful to the Rotary Club of Safdarjung for their unwavering support and compassionate involvement. Partnerships like these amplify our impact and remind us that meaningful change is possible when we come together.
Through a robust network of 447+ clinics across India, supported by a unique Public-Private Partnership model and driven by CSR support, CURE India continues to provide free treatment using the Ponseti Method—the global gold standard in clubfoot care. With over 115,000 children treated and 9,000+ doctors trained, we are steadily moving towards a clubfoot-free India by 2030.
